महामारी के बीच अपना बिजनेस चलाने के लिए लोग नए-नए तरीके ईजाद कर रहे हैं। इसी बीच बेल्जियन का रेस्टोरेंट यहां आने वाले कस्टमर के लिए कैंपर वैन में खाना सर्व कर रहा है। इस रेस्टोरेंट का नाम 'मीठियाज एंड सी' है। यहां उपलब्ध कराई जाने वाली कैंपर वैन में बैठकर लोग खाना खाते हैं जिसे रेस्टोरेंट की पार्किंग में रखा गया है। रेस्टोरेंट के स्टाफ मेंबर्स मास्क पहनकर कस्टमर को खाना सर्व करते हैं।

वैसे भी महामारी के बीच कई जगह रेस्टोरेंट में इंडोर डाइनिंग पर प्रतिबंध लगा हुआ है। इसलिए कई रेस्टोरेंट होम डिलिवरी के जरिये कस्टमर को खाना उपलब्ध करा रहे हैं। इस रेस्टोरेंट के मालिक माट्टिया कोलू ने बताया कि ये आइडिया उन्हें कस्टमर से होम डिलिवरी के लिए ऑर्डर लेते समय आया।

माट्टिया कहते हैं - ''मैंने अब तक कई अच्छी कैंपर वैन देखी हैं। रेस्टोरेंट का खाना घर में खाने के बजाय कैंपर वैन में खाना ज्यादा अच्छा है। हमारे रेस्टोरेंट के बाहर पार्किंग का पूरा इंतजाम है। कस्टमर यहां आकर कैंपर वैन में बैठे-बैठे ही टेक्स्ट मैसेज कर खाने का ऑर्डर दे सकते हैं''।

यहां आने वाली एक कस्टमर ने बताया - ''पति-पत्नी बिना बच्चों के भी यहां बैठकर एक दूसरे के साथ खाने का मजा ले सकते हैं। ये जगह वाकई बहुत अच्छी है''। बेल्जियम में 13 दिसंबर तक लॉकडाउन है। लेकिन धीरे-धीरे कुछ दुकानें खुलने लगी हैं। यह अनुमान लगाया जा रहा है कि यहां जनवरी तक रेस्टोरेंट बंद रहेंगे।

सूरत के 25 वर्षीय ज्वेलर ने बनाई 12,638 हीरों से जड़ी नायाब अंगूठी, गिनीज बुक ऑफ वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड में दर्ज हुआ नाम

भारत के डायमंड हब सूरत के 25 साल के एक ज्वेलर हरीश बंसल ने 12,638 छोटे-छोटे हीरों से जड़ी फूल के आकार की एक अंगूठी बनाई है। इस अंगूठी का नाम दी मैरीगोल्ड-दी रिंग ऑफ प्रॉस्पेरिटी नाम की इस गोलाकार अंगूठी का वजन 165 ग्राम से कुछ अधिक है। इसे सबसे अधिक हीरो वाली अंगूठी के लिहाज से गिनीज बुक ऑफ वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड्स में शामिल किया गया है। इससे पहले भी सबसे ज्यादा हीरों वाली अंगूठी बनाने का विश्व रिकॉर्ड भारत में ही बना था। इस अंगूठी में 7,801 छोटे-छोटे हीरे लगे थे।

हरीश का इस अंगूठी को बेचने का कोई इरादा नहीं है। उनके लिए ये अंगूठी अनमोल है। उन्हें इस अंगूठी को बनाने पर गर्व है। वे पिछले दो साल से इसे बनाने में मेहनत कर रहे थे। उन्हीं दिनों हरीश ने सूरत में रिंग मेकिंग आर्ट सीखा था। इसे बनाने के दौरान सबसे पहले उसने अंगूठी में 10,000 हीरे लगाए। लेकिन एक बार जब दोबारा इसे डिजाइन किया तो हीरों की संख्या 12,638 कर दी। हरीश इसे अपना ड्रीम प्रोजेक्ट मानते हैं। इसे बनाने का आइडिया उन्हें दो साल पहले उस वक्त आया जब वे सूरत की वेस्टर्न सिटी में ज्वेलरी डिजाइन की पढ़ाई कर रहे थे।

कोरोना पॉजिटिव दुल्हन ने कायम की मिसाल, दूल्हे को खिड़की के पास खड़ा किया और रिबन के सहारे जोड़ा उम्र भर का रिश्ता

अमेरिका के कैलिफोर्निया के युगल ने क्वारेंटान में रहते हुए शादी रचाई। ओंटेरियो के रहने वाले पैट्रिक डेलगोडो और लॉरेन ने शादी की खास तैयारी की थी। पर शादी के तीन दिन पहले ही लॉरेन को कोरोना पॉजिटिव होने का पता चला। पैट्रिक ने हार नहीं मानी और लॉरेन के क्वारेंटाइन में रहते हुए उनसे शादी रचाई।

शादी के दौरान दुल्हन पहले फ्लोर की खिड़की पर बैठी और दूल्हा नीचे खड़ा रहा। दोनों ने एक दूसरे को 32 फीट की रिबन के जरिये बांधकर रखा था। इसी के जरिए रिंग एक्सचेंज सेरेमनी भी हुई। इससे पहले भी दोनों की शादी पहले भी कई बार टल चुकी थी। इसलिए इस बार वे इसे टालना नहीं चाहते थे। शादी में 40 मेहमान भी शामिल हुए। इनमें से 10 मेहमानों ने सेरेमनी अटैंड की और बाकी 30 ने सोशल डिस्टेंसिंग का पालन करते हुए कार में बैठकर ही सेरेमनी देखी।

शादी की रस्मों के दौरान दूल्हे ने पूरे टाइम मास्क पहने रखा। मई 2019 में इस कपल की सगाई हुई थी। सोशल मीडिया पर इस कपल की तारीफ हो रही है। लॉरेन के अनुसार, जब मैं खिड़की में दुल्हन बनकर बैठी तो मुझे ये लग रहा था जैसे मैं एक परी हूं।

कोरोना वायरस महामारी के बीच अमेरिका के इलिनॉइस में रहने वाले एक कपल ने अपनी शादी कैंसिल कर दी। इस कपल ने शादी के लिए आलीशान इंतजाम पहले ही कर रखे थे। उन्होंने अपनी कैटरिंग के लिए दिए पैसों को वापिस लेने के बजाय इससे 200 जरूरतमंदों को खाना खिलाया। सोशल मीडिया पर इस कपल की दरियादिली की तारीफ हो रही है।

इस कपल का नाम बिली लेविस और एमिली बग है। इनकी शादी 1 अक्टूबर को शिकागो सिटी हॉल में होने वाली थी। अपनी शादी के सभी फंक्शंस को इस कपल ने महामारी की वजह से कैंसिल कर दिया। उन्होंने कैटरिंग के लिए दी गई राशि से जरूरतमंदों के बीच फूड पैकेट बांटे। इस पैकेट में टर्की, मैश्ड पोटैटोज, स्टफिंग, ग्रीन बींस, क्रेनबेरी सॉस, सलाद और कुकीज रखी गईं।

इस कपल ने वेन्यू के लिए जमा की गई राशि एपिलेप्सी फाउंडेशन को दी ताकि भविष्य में यहां होने वाले इवेंट्स में इस पैसे का उपयोग हो सके। महामारी की वजह से इस कपल ने अपनी शादी की योजना कई बार बदली। लेकिन फिर सादे समारोह में शादी कर ली। लेविस को इस बात की खुशी है कि उन्हें एक समझदार बीवी मिली जो महामारी के बीच पैसे जमा करने के बजाय उसे दान देने या गरीबों में बांटना पसंद करती है।

4 अगस्त 2020 को लेबनान में हुए बेरूत धमाके में 200 से अधिक लोग मारे गए और हजारों लोग घायल हुए। इनमें ऐसे भी कई बच्चे हैं जिनके माता-पिता इस इस दुनिया में नहीं रहे या उनका परिवार इस धमाके से बुरी तरह प्रभावित हुआ। ऐसे में कई परिवार बेघर हुए और इन बच्चों के खिलौने धुएं के ढेर में दब गए। इन सभी बच्चों के लिए लेबनान की एक आर्टिस्ट रंग-बिरंगी गुड़िया बना रही हैं। 5 अगस्त से योलेंडे लबाकी नाम की इस कलाकार ने डॉल्स बनाने का काम शुरू किया। इनकी इस पहल को सोशल मीडिया पर सराहा जा रहा है।

लबाकी ने डॉल्स बनाने का काम लेबनान के एक एनजीओ के लिए शुरू किया था। ये एनजीओ विस्फोट में प्रभावित हुए लोगों की मदद करता है। वे अब तक 100 बच्चों को डॉल्स बनाकर दे चुकी हैं। वे रोज सुबह जल्दी उठती हैं और अपने काम निपटाने के बाद डॉल्स बनाना शुरू करती हैं। वे यह डॉल जिस लड़की को देती हैं, उसी के नाम पर अपनी डॉल का नाम भी रखती हैं।

योलेंडे की बनाई हुई पेंटिंग।

योलेंडे एक लैंडस्केप पेंटर भी हैं। इन्होंने अपनी पढ़ाई पेरिस से की। योलेंडे ने न्यूयॉर्क के स्कूल ऑफ विजुअल आर्ट्स से सिल्कस्क्रीन टेक्नीक सीखी। इनकी बनाई पेंटिंग की प्रदर्शनी अब तक बेरूत और फ्रेंकफर्ट के अलावा भी कई जगह लग चुकी है।

ऐसे कई लोग हैं जो पर्यावरण की रक्षा के लिए अपनी ओर से प्रयास कर रहे हैं। ऐसा ही एक प्रयास 2018 बैच के भारतीय ट्रैफिक सर्विस ऑफिसर शशिकांत कोरावथ ने भी किया। अपनी शादी में मेहमानों को आमंत्रित करने के लिए शशिकांत ने ग्रीन वेडिंग कार्ड छपवाए। इन्हें सीड पेपर से बनाया गया है।

अगर इस कार्ड के टुकड़ों को जमीन में बो दिया जाए तो इससे तीन अलग-अलग तरह की वैरायटी वाले फूल और पौधे उगाए जा सकते हैं। इसी तरह इस कार्ड के लिफाफे से 3 तरह की सब्जियों वाले पौधे उगाए जा सकते हैं।

सोशल मीडिया पर इस युवा ऑफिसर की क्रिएटिविटी को सराहा जा रहा है। शशिकांत के अनुसार, इंविटेशन कार्ड को देखने के बाद लोग फेंक देते हैं। इससे प्रदूषण बढ़ता है और पर्यावरण को नुकसान होता है। इसलिए हमें अपने प्रयास से पर्यावरण बचाना चाहिए। शादी से जिंदगी की नई शुरुआत होती है। यही वो वक्त है जब हम अच्छे कामों की शुरुआत भी कर सकते हैं। इस कपल का प्रयास है कि उनकी शादी में प्लास्टिक का इस्तेमाल बिल्कुल न किया जाए।

नेपाल में कोरोना से दम तोड़ने वालों की अंत्येष्टि महिला सैनिक कर रही हैं। नेपाल जैसे हिंदू राष्ट्र में जहां महिलाओं के मृत शरीर को छूने पर भी पाबंदी है, वहां महिला सैनिकों को इस साहसिक काम की जिम्मेदारी दी गई है। 25 साल की महिला सैनिक रचना ने कहा - ''जब से मेरी ड़यूटी शुरू हुई है, तब से मैं अपने परिवार के साथ नहीं हूं, लेकिन मेरा परिवार और मेरे दोस्त खुश हैं। पिछले महीने अपने इस काम के पहले दिन ही मैं अस्पताल से श्मशान घाट तक छ: कोरोना पेशेंट को अंत्येष्टि के लिए लेकर आई थी''।

कोरोना से मृत मरीजों को अंत्येष्टि के लिए ले जाती महिलाओं को काठमांडू में पशुपति श्मशान गृह में देखा जा सकता है। नेपाल आर्मी के प्रवक्ता संतोष बी पोद्याल ने बताया कि ''महिलाओं को रोजगार देने और उन्हें सशक्त बनाने के लिए ये कदम उठाया गया है। इससे पहले महिलाएं हॉस्पिटल, इंजीनियरिंग और विपदाओं के बीच खुद को साबित कर चुकी हैं। पहली बार उन्हें मृतकों की अंत्येष्टि का मौका मिला है। हम ये कह सकते हैं कि इस तरह से वे अपनी सीमाओं से बाहर काम कर रही हैं''।

एक अन्य महिला सैनिक कृष्णा कुमारी ने बताया - ''मुझे इस काम को करते हुए खुद पर गर्व होता है''। हालांकि महिलाओं के लिए यह काम आसान नहीं है। लेकिन महामारी के बीच महिला सैनिकों ने अपने काम से ये साबित कर दिया है कि वे पुरुषों से कम नहीं हैं''।

इटली की 101 साल की मारिया ओरसिंघेर का नाम कोरोना वॉरियर्स के रूप में दर्ज किया गया है। खुद डॉक्टर भी कह रहे हैं कि नौ माह के अंतराल में तीन बार कोरोना संक्रमित होने के बावजूद हर बार मारिया ने इस जानलेवा वायरस को मात देकर सचमुच हमें हैरान कर दिया है। मारिया पहली बार फरवरी में कोरोना से संक्रमित हुई थीं।

उनकी बेटी कार्ला ने बताया - ''मैंने मां को फरवरी में सोंडालो में अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया था। तब यहां बड़ी संख्या में कोरोना से पीड़ित बुजुर्गों की मौत हो रही थी। हम काफी डरे हुए थे। मां के ठीक होने के बाद डॉक्टरों ने मुझे बताया कि उन्होंने कभी भी इतनी उम्रदराज व्यक्ति को कोरोना से इतनी जल्दी ठीक होते हुए नहीं देखा''।

आनंदी बाई पाटील सितंबर में कोरोना को मात दे चुकी हैं।

उन्हें सांस लेने में किसी असिस्टेंट की सहायता की भी जरूरत नहीं पड़ी थी और न ही उनका बुखार अधिक था। जुलाई में उन्होंने अपना 101 वां जन्मदिन सेलिब्रेट किया था। सितंबर में दोबारा संक्रमित हुईं और नवंबर में तीसरी बार उनका टेस्ट पॉजिटिव आया। फिलहाल वह घर पर बेड रेस्ट कर रही हैं।
मारिया पहली बुजुर्ग नहीं हैं जिन्होंने कोरोना को मात दी। भारत में केरल के अलुवा में रहने वाले 103 साल के पुराक्काट वेटि्टल पारीद ने अगस्त में और महाराष्ट्र के ठाणे की 106 साल की आनंदी बाई पाटील सितंबर में कोरोना को मात दे चुकी हैं।

कभी लुईस कार्टर हॉलीडे पार्टीज या रिटायरमेंट सेंटर्स में गिफ्ट करने के लिए विंटर कैप बनाती थीं। लेकिन जब महामारी की शुरुआत हुई तो 91 साल की कार्टर ने अपने इस हुनर से दूसरों की मदद करने के बारे में सोचा। अब वे रंग-बिरंगे वुलन कैप अपने हाथों से बुनकर साउथ डेकोटा के चैंबरलिन में स्थित सेंट जोसेफ इंडियन स्कूल के स्टूडेंट्स को गिफ्ट करती हैं। उन्होंने एक मिशन के तौर पर लॉकडाउन के दौरान अपने इस काम को जारी रखा।

कार्टर कहती हैं - "जब लॉकडाउन की शुरुआत हुई तो मुझे ये लगने लगा कि मैं खुद को दिन-रात इस घर में लॉक करके कैसे रहूंगी। फिर मैंने कलरफुल कैप बनाना शुरू किया। ये काम मेरे लिए मजेदार था। मुझे ये लगा कि मैंने अपने वक्त को बर्बाद करने के बजाय इसका सही इस्तेमाल किया"।

कार्टर एक रिटायर्ड ओंकोलॉजी नर्स स्पेशलिस्ट हैं। कार्टर को डोम शेप वाले कैप बनाना पसंद है। इस तरह के एक कैप को बनाने में लगभग छ: घंटे का समय लगता है। कार्टर से जब यह पूछा जाता है कि आपने अपने काम के लिए सेंट जोसेफ इंडियन स्कूल के बच्चों को ही क्यों चुना तो वे कहती हैं- ''मैं इस स्कूल में कैप डोनेट करने से पहले भी ठंड का मौसम शुरू होते ही डोनेशन के तौर पर कुछ राशि देती थी ताकि यहां के बच्चे अपने लिए वुलन कैप खरीद सकें। फिर मुझे लगा कि मैं इन बच्चों के लिए इससे बेहतर भी कुछ कर सकती हूं। तब मैंने खुद कैप बुनने की शुरुआत की''।

लाहौर की रहने वाली निशा राव पाकिस्तान की पहली ट्रांसजेंडर वकील हैं। निशा राव ने अपनी जिंदगी में वो दिन भी गुजारे जब सड़कों पर भीख मांगकर पढ़ाई की। उन्हें आज इस बात की खुशी है कि उनकी मेहनत रंग लाई। 28 साल की निशा का संबंध एक मध्यमवर्गीय परिवार से है। 18 साल की उम्र में निशा दो अन्य ट्रांसजेंडर के साथ मिलकर घर छोड़कर चली गई थीं।

वे कराची आईं और अपनी पहचान पाने के लिए संघर्ष किया। निशा ने बताया कि यहां आने के बाद कई ट्रांसजेंडर ने उन्हें सलाह दी कि वह दो वक्त की रोटी जुटाने के लिए सेक्स वर्कर बन जाए लेकिन ये काम करना निशा को मंजूर नहीं था। उसके बाद निशा ने अपनी आजीविका के लिए ट्रेफिक लाइट पर भीख मांगना शुरू किया। लेकिन ये काम भी उसे अच्छा नहीं लगा। तब उसने पढ़ाई शुरू की और वकील बनी। वे दिन में भीख मांगती औ रात को पढ़ाई करती थीं।

2018 में निशा ने सिंध मुस्लिम लॉ कॉलेज से डिग्री ली। राव अब तक 50 केस लड़ चुकी हैं। उनके क्लाइंट में कई ट्रांसजेंडर्स भी शामिल हैं। वे एक गैर सरकारी संस्था के लिए भी काम करती हैं जो ट्रांसजेंडर लोगों को उनका हक दिलाने की दिशा में प्रयासरत है।

एक ट्रांसजेंडर भिखारी नायाब ने बताया-''कभी निशा हमारे साथ भीख मांगकर अपना गुजारा करती थी। लेकिन आज वो हम सबसे अच्छी हालत में है। वह हर वक्त हमारी मदद के लिए तैयार रहती है। अगर आधी रात में भी उससे मदद मांगी जाए तो भी वह कभी मना नहीं करती है''। निशा ट्रांसजेंडर समुदाय के लिए ओल्ड एज होम बनाने की ख्वाहिश रखती है।

मेडिकल काउंसिलिंग 2020-2021 के पहले चरण में दैनिक मजदूरी करने वाले पिता की बेटी श्वेता पकियम का चयन हुआ। 18 साल की श्वेथा को एक प्रायवेट मेडिकल कॉलेज में बीडीएस के लिए सीट मिली। श्वेथा ने रामकृष्णपुरम के कार्पोरेशन गर्ल्स हायर सेकंडरी स्कूल से 12 वीं कक्षा पास की। उसने बिना किसी कोचिंग के खुद पढ़ाई करके नीट-2020 की परीक्षा दी।

श्वेता को जब यह पता चला कि एडमिशन फीस के तौर पर उसे 55,000 रुपए जमा करना होगा तो वह बहुत परेशान थी। ऐसे में स्कूल टीचर ने उसकी मदद की। श्वेथा के स्कूल की प्रिंसिपल ने बताया कि जब हमें यह पता चला कि श्वेथा का डेंटल कॉलेज में सिलेक्शन हो गया है तो उसकी फीस के लिए तत्काल सभी टीचर्स ने मिलकर 46,000 रुपए जमा किए। इसके बाद भी 4000 रुपए कम पड़ रहे थे जिसका प्रबंध श्वेथा के परिवार ने किया।

श्वेथा और उसके परिवार की खुशी का उस वक्त ठिकाना नहीं रहा जब राज्य सरकार ने श्वेता और उसकी तरह अन्य गरीब बच्चों की पढ़ाई का खर्च उठाने की घोषणा की। श्वेता ने बताया कि उसके पास ऑनलाइन नीट कोचिंग अटैंड करने के लिए स्मार्टफोन नहीं था। इसलिए उसने किताबों से खुद ही पढ़ाई की। उसे पढ़ाई में जब भी कोई दिक्कत होती तो वह अपने टीचर से पूछती थी।
