लाइफस्टाइल डेस्क. जवाहर लाल नेहरू कैंसर अस्पताल एवं अनुसंधान केंद्र की ओर से शुक्रवार को रजत जयंती वर्ष के मौके पर भोपाल में कैंसर सर्वाइवर्समिलन समारोह का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। दो दिवसीय इस समारोह के पहले दिन मिंटो हॉल में 'कॉफी विद ताहिरा कश्यप खुराना' का विशेष सत्र रखा गया। समारोह में बड़ी संख्या में कैंसर सर्वाइवर्स, कैंसर मरीज और उनके परिजन, पूर्व सांसद सुरेश पचौरी, विधायक विश्वास सारंग, जवाहर लाल नेहरू कैंसर अस्पताल एवं अनुसंधान केंद्र की अध्यक्ष आशा मदन जोशी और सीईओ दिव्या पाराशर उपस्थित थीं। इस दौरान ताहिरा से बतौर एंकर बात की हॉस्पिटल की ऑन्कोसर्जन डॉ. नीलू मल्होत्रा ने -

एंकर- आपकी जिंदगी में बधाएं आईं, उस सफर के बारे में बताइए?
ताहिरा- सेहत हो, फाइनेंस हो या रिश्ते हर किसी की जिंदगी में 'ग्रे क्लाउड्स' आते ही हैं। लेकिन हर बाधा में कोई न कोई सिल्वर लाइनिंग जरूर होती है। हम मुश्किल हालात से निपटकर ही बेहतर इंसान बनते हैं। मैं बुद्धिज्म को फॉलो करती हूं- जो बताता है कि अगर कोई समस्या आई है तो मुझे कुछ सिखाने आई है।

एंकर- आपको कभी लगा कि ऐसा मेरे साथ ही क्यों हुआ?
ताहिरा- आज 10 जनवरी 2020 की तारीख तक मैंने यह सवाल खुद से नहीं पूछा है। मेरा तरीका यह था कि चैलेंज को एक चैलेंज की तरह लो और अपना बेस्ट सामने लाओ। ऐसे समय में किसी मजबूत सपोर्ट सिस्टम कि जरूरत पड़ती है, जैसे मेरे लिए बुद्धिज्म की प्रैक्टिस। मैंने अपनी मनोदशा ऐसी रखी कि बीमारी को खुद पर हावी नहीं होने दिया। और यह कहना बड़ा अजीब लगता होगा लेकिन मैं अपने इस सफर को सेलिब्रेट करना चाहूंगी और मैंने किया भी। (और इसी के साथ तालियां बजने लगी)

एंकर- कई सारे कैंसर सर्वाइवर हमारे साथ हैं, उनको क्या मैसेज देना चाहेंगी?
ताहिरा- मैं उन सभी महिलाओं को सलाम करती हूं, उनको भी जिन्होंने यह जंग जीती और उन्हें भी जो यह नहीं जीत पाए। इन सबकी कहानियां प्रेरणा देने वाली हैं। मुझे महिलाओं से प्यार है, यह एक ऐसी प्रजाति है जो कभी हार नहीं मानती, हारकर भी फिर खड़े होने की हिम्मत रखती है।

एंकर- सर्जरी के बाद आपने अपना ध्यान कैसे रखा?
ताहिरा - मैंने फूड, वर्कआउट का ध्यान रखा। और यह भी सुनिश्चित रखा कि मेरी मानसिक सेहत अच्छी रहे। मैं अपनी खुशी पर फोकस करती हूं। और हम सब खुश रहना चाहते है। परेशान नहीं होना चाहते। जिंदगी कट रही है…., जिंदगी काटने के लिए नहीं है वैल्यू एड करने के लिए है और हम सब खुश होने के हकदार है और यही मेरा रोज का मंत्र है।

रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, 2019 में मुंबई और दिल्ली में होने वाली शादियों की संख्या अधिकतम थी। लेकिन डेस्टिनेशन वेडिंग लिए समुद्र तट वाली जगहों को चुना गया है। इनमें गोवा सबसे ऊपर था। हिल स्टेशंस पर डेस्टिनेशन वेडिंग के लिए शिमला, देहरादून और मसूरी सबसे ज्यादा पसंद किए गए। राजशाही ठाठ के साथ शादियां करना लोगों को पसंद आया और इसके लिए उदयपुर और जयपुर के किले लोगों की खास पसंद रहे। ऐसी शादियों में प्री-वेडिंग शूट, कैंडिड और ट्रेडिशनल शॉट फोटोग्राफी को काफी पसंद किया गया।

सजावट : थीम से लेकर स्टेज तक दुल्हन के मुताबिक तैयार हुआ

नए ट्रेंड के मुताबिक, शादियों में छोटी-छोटी बातें दुल्हन ही तय कर रही है। थीम से लेकर स्टेट की डिजाइन तक दुल्हन की पसंद के मुताबिक तैयार किया जा रहा है। डेकोरेशन में पेस्टल रंगों का दबदबा रहा है। भारतीय शादियां 1 हफ्ते तक चलती हैं। इस दौरान अलग-अलग परंपराएं निभाई जाती हैं। इनमें सबसे ज्यादा भारतीयों ने मेहंदी की रस्म को तवज्जो दी। इसके बाद हल्दी की रस्म, संगीत और कॉकटेल पार्टी आयोजित की गईं।

गेस्ट्स : सबसे छोटी शादी में 50 और ग्रैंड वेडिंग में 650 मेहमान आए

रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, पिछले कुछ सालों में शादियों में मेहमानों की संख्या सीमित की जा रही है। 2019 में भी यह ट्रेंड जारी रहा है। औसतन एक शादी में 250 लोग शामिल हुए। सबसे कम मेहमानों की संख्या वाली शादी में 50 मेहमान शामिल थे। वहीं, सबसे अधिक मेहमानों वाली शादी 650 गेस्ट ने शामिल होकर समारोह में चार चांद लगाए।

दुनिया की जेलों में महिलाओं की संख्या पुरुषों से 5 गुना तेजी से बढ़ी, हिंसक अपराधों में भी पुरुषों को पीछे छोड़ा

लंदन. अपराधों के मामलों में आम तौर पर पुरुषों को ही जिम्मेदार माना जाता है। खास तौर पर हिंसक अपराधों में, लेकिन ताजा रिपोर्ट की मानें, तो पिछले तीन दशकों में जेलों में बंद महिलाओं की संख्या पुरुषों की तुलना में तेजी से बढ़ी है। पश्चिमी देशों में तो हिंसक अपराधों में महिलाओं ने पुरुषों को पछाड़ दिया है। यह खुलासा दुनिया भर में अपराधों पर नजर रखने वाली लंदन की संस्था इंस्टीट्यूट फॉर क्रिमिनल पॉलिसी रिसर्च की ताजा रिपोर्ट में हुआ है।

इसके मुताबिक पिछले तीन दशकों में पश्चिमी देशों में अपराधों की दर घटी है, लेकिन चौंकाने वाली बात यह है कि हिंसक अपराधों की दोषी महिलाओं की संख्या तेजी से बढ़ी है। प्राइवेट इन्वेस्टीगेटर केली पैक्सटन के मुताबिक खर्च और जरूरतें पूरी नहीं कर पाने और वित्तीय संकट से कुछ महिलाएं अपराध कर बैठती हैं।

दुनिया भर की जेलों में बंद महिलाओं की संख्या 30 साल में 50% से ज्यादा बढ़ी है। ब्रिटेन में तो सिर्फ 2015-2016 में ही गिरफ्तार महिलाओं की संख्या 50% से ज्यादा बढ़ गई। दुनिया भर की जेलों में 7.14 लाख से ज्यादा महिलाएं बंद हैं। यह जेलों में बंद कुल कैदियों का महज 7% है, लेकिन तीन दशक में महिलाओं की संख्या तेजी से बढ़ी है। ऐसा इतिहास में कभी नहीं हुआ।

लाइफस्टाइल डेस्क. इस कॉलम में हमारी रिलेशनशिप एक्सपर्ट डॉ. निशा खन्ना से जानिए रिलेशनशिप से जुड़ी समस्याओं के सवालों के जवाब। सवाल पूछने वालों के नाम गोपनीय रखे गए हैं।

मैं 30 साल का हूं। सात साल पहले मेरी अरैंज्ड मैरिज हुई थी। तीन साल का बेटा भी है। शादी से पहले मेरी एक दोस्त थी। पत्नी से मुझे भावनात्मक संबल नहीं मिला, इसलिए मैं उस दोस्त के प्रति इमोशनली जुड़ाव महसूस करने लगा। पिछले कुछ अरसे से हम दोनों और भी करीब आ गए हैं और अब हम शादी करना चाहते हैं। लेकिन मैं अपने परिवार को भी नहीं खोना चाहता। क्या करूं?
एक्सपर्ट एडवाइज- परिवार होने के बाद दोबारा शादी करना इतना आसान निर्णय नहीं होता। पर अगर आप दोबारा शादी करना ही चाहते हैं, तो उससे पहले यह सोचिए कि क्या आपने अपनी पत्नी और बच्चे के भविष्य को सुरक्षित कर लिया है, क्योंकि यह आपकी एक बड़ी जिम्मेदारी है। अगर आपने यह भी कर लिया है तो भी जल्दबाजी न करें। अंतिम निर्णय लेने से पहले अपनी गर्लफ्रेंड के साथ रिश्ते की बुनियाद को अच्छी तरह परख लीजिए। इसके लिए आप एक छोटा-सा काम कीजिए। अगले छह महीने तक आप गर्लफ्रेंड से किसी भी तरह का संपर्क ना रखें। उससे बात भी ना करें। इन छह महीनों का पूरा समय पत्नी को दें, उनके साथ अच्छा समय बिताएं, उन्हें जानने की कोशिश करें। अपनी शादीशुदा जिंदगी पर ध्यान दें। हो सकता है इससे आपको यह समझ में आ जाए कि आप दोनों के रिश्ते में समस्या कहां है। हो सकता है इससे आप अपने रिश्ते को बचा सकें। लेकिन इन छह माह में अगर समस्या का समाधान नहीं होता है तो भी यह फायदेमंद ही होगा। इससे होगा यह कि आप भविष्य में कभी खुद को और पत्नी आपको इस बात के लिए दोष नहीं देंगी कि आपने रिश्ते को समय नहीं दिया और क्विट कर दिया। और इस बीच आपको गर्लफ्रेंड के साथ अपने रिश्ते की गहराई भी पता चल जाएगी।

मेरी सितंबर 2018 में सगाई हुई और जल्दी ही शादी होने वाली है। सगाई के बाद छह महीने तक होने वाली पार्टनर से अच्छी बात हुई। लेकिन फिर अंडरस्टैंडिंग नहीं जमी। इस बीच मैं डिप्रेशन में चला गया। डिप्रेशन में ही उससे बदतमीज़ी और गाली-गलौज भी की। हालांकि बाद में मैंने अपना पूरा इलाज करवाया और अब सब ठीक है। लेकिन मन में यह बात घर कर गई है कि अब शायद हम इस रिश्ते से खुश नहीं हैं। मुझे क्या करना चाहिए?
एक्सपर्ट एडवाइज-रिलेशनशिप के इस कॉलम में मैं अक्सर सलाह देती हूं कि इंसान को सबसे पहली अपनी ख़ुशी पर ध्यान देना बेहद जरूरी है। अगर वह खुद अपनी जिंदगी में खुश है, तो यकीन मानिए उसके अन्य लोगों के साथ रिश्ते भी ठीक होंगे। अगर आप डिप्रेशन से उबर गए हैं तो पुरानी बातों को भूल जाइए। बस इसी स्पिरिट को आगे जारी रखना है। अपनी पार्टनर से मिलिए। अपनी डिप्रेशन की स्थिति को साफ कीजिए। अगर उसके कुछ गिले-शिकवे हैं तो उन्हें दूर कीजिए। शादी से पहले ही पार्टनर से स्पष्ट पूछिए कि क्या वह पुरानी बातों (आपकी बदतमीजी) को भूल चुकी है या उसे गांठ से बांधकर रखे हुए हैं? वह क्या चाहती हैं और उसकी आपसे क्या उम्मीदें हैं, इन पर भी गौर कीजिए। अगर सबकुछ ठीक है तो फिर ज्यादा मत सोचिए। आगे की सुखद योजना बनाइए।

मेरी शादी को चार साल हो चुके हैं। वैसे पत्नी समझदार है, लेकिन कभी-कभी चिड़चिड़ा बर्ताव करती है,जो मन में आता, बोलने लगती है। इससे रिश्ते में तनाव बढ़ रहा है। मैं इस समस्या से कैसे डील करूं?
एक्सपर्ट एडवाइज-समस्या इमोशनल है या मेंटल अथवा फिजिकल, पहले तो इसका पता लगाना जरूरी है। अगर परेशानी शारीरिक और मानसिक स्तर की है तो आपको किसी अच्छे मनोचिकित्सक या हॉर्मोनल विशेषज्ञ को दिखाना चाहिए। कई बार हॉर्मोनल बीमारी (जैसे थायरॉइड) आदि के कारण भी चिड़चिड़ापन बढ़ जाता है। जब अगली बार वह चिड़चिड़ा व्यवहार करें तो आप संयत रहें और उनके शांत होने के बाद उनसे आराम से पूछें कि वह ऐसा रिएक्ट क्यों कर रही हैं? आप चाहें तो एक हफ्ते तक पत्नी के व्यवहार को नोट कर सकते हैं। अभी आपकी शादी को केवल चार साल हुए हैं और कई बार पार्टनर को समझने में इससे भी ज्यादा वक्त लग जाता है। इसलिए इस पूरे मामले में आपको बेहद जिम्मेदारी से पेश आना होगा। अगर पत्नी के चिड़चिड़ाने पर आप भी वैसा ही रिएक्ट करेंगे तो फिर ज़रा-सी मुश्किल बड़ा रूप ले सकती है। आप धैर्य रखें और पत्नी को इमोशनल रूप से सपोर्ट करें।
